    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • All the interns were very friendly and met up for drinks. I have become quite close with a couple of interns and often meet them for lunch. I was also really lucky to have such a good team so went out with them at lunch and after work. My team are definitely very social and always include me in everything!

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was based in London so costs are naturally a bit higher but there are cheaper places close by such as Weathersppons. It depends on where you go but there are quite a few places that are good value for money.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • As I live in Essex and the last train is before midnight I didn't go out 'at night'. However, I did go to a bar with my team after work and this was great. Chips and martinis!!

  • You can volunteer to work at the events or even participate. I was invited out by my team to local bars and also out for lunch. I also went to events/training days in Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester!
