    • One day insight, so no responsibility given and wasn't felt incredibly valued in a room of 100 other students

    • Ran late sometimes but otherwise a good program

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Not a lot, but can only be expected from a 4 hour insight. The day was mostly jsut an introduction to the firm so not really meant to be developing ourselves.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Got to talk to the employees but other than that, nothing really... It was nice to hear some fresh honest opinions from the current analysts though!

    • Loved the talk by Charles Prideaux on culture! There was a great distinction that BlackRock is "not a bank"!

    • Not paid or reimbursed because it was only a 4 hour thing.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Not really... I didn't ask though. I did talk to one guy who was very open with sharing his working hours and experiences outside work though, but this was beyond the firm.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • Yes, because gives a good short insight to BlackRock. There's also free food and it's very nice to see the office. BlackRock doesn't recruit actively from my campus so this was the perfect opportunity for me to find out more about them.
