    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The day was enjoyable and all the speakers engaging and informative. The only real problem was that the games felt too short and rushed. It was good to get a feel for the different areas in BlackRock, but perhaps two 45 minute games would have been more useful than three 30 minutes ones.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt involved, and everyone was happy to answer my questions. Considering the number of people there, I felt you did a good job engaging individuals.

    • Again, I felt any questions I asked we're answered well, talking to employees was especially useful, they gave me a good insight to what it was like to work at BlackRock.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • The day helped me decide on which area I wanted to go into, something I wasn't sure about at all before I went. I feel a lot better knowing that I'm now applying for a role that really interests and suits me.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The individual sections of the day were all very good, but it felt like too much was being squeezed into too little time. The games especially felt very rushed.

    • Really enjoyable day, everyone involved was very engaging.

    • Considering the number of people there, I felt like I revived a reasonable amount of attention.

    • Very good, we had an introduction to different areas, and I left with a much clearer idea of what I wanted to do.
