The Role
Really enjoyed my internship, has been an amazing few months in a great charity
I have been recognised for all my work throughout my time and received gifts on leaving
Manager was incredible, could not have asked for more from them
I was given specific projects to be working on throughout my time. The work was also varied with travel around the region.
I was given a whole event to organise by myself, with guidance and logistical help when required.
I have gained such an insight into the third sector and the way in which a large charity operates. The skills I have developed and experience I have gained will definitely assist me in the future.
The Company
Was a home-based internship, with some office work
Very well organised, especially with such a large amount of interns
Had training in writing CVs, interviews and writing applications. Was very focused on developing skills set out by me.
Working from home
Would absolutely love to work for them in the future
The Culture
I was home-based whereas nearly all others were office-based, but it was good if I could make social events
Not bad for London
Didn't go out in the evenings
Many volunteering opportunities
