The Role
I felt a lot of effort was put in to ensure the scheme was a success for us.
I was praised for the work I did and make to feel genuinely useful, rather than nuisence which is nice! Sometimes I did not feel I was used as a resource by the more senior members of staff who did not make much effort to approach me.
Everyone in charge of us during the course of the scheme was very helpful and supportive.
Generally a lot of effort was made to ensure I was kept busy.
I was given plenty of responsibility all of genuine work tasks which was nice.
This gave me a really good insight to the work of a trainee which was exactly what I wanted out of the scheme.
The Company
Very hard working. Some fun but generally I wasn't really included in the jokes and laughter unfortunately!
Very impressive.
We were paid and a lot of time and effort was put into the two week placement.
Subsidised Canteen
The Culture
We all got on really well and had plenty of formal social events organised.
I'm not really sure as I commuted in from home from the suburbs so this was not a concern.
Birmingham has plenty going on.
Organised social events but that is about it.
