About You
I attended the BlackRock exclusive insight event for a day. While it really provided a very good overview of the firm and demystified what BlackRock really does as a company, I felt the games organized lacked depth. Perhaps the duration of the insight can be extended subject to constraints (perhaps a full day?) and include some form of brief job shadowing.
From what I understood, everyone at BlackRock worked in small teams and spoke highly of their job and felt valued in their roles. I can really see myself fitting in a firm like BlackRock where a strong culture of healthy competition exists.
In the games, there was always a representative attached to our teams ready to answer any questions we might have.
The networking session helped me further understand BlackRock's role in the financial markets even better and clarified my career options.
The Company
No delays, everything went according to schedule.
It was an insight day so what I could take away from it was relatively limited.
It was an insight day so what I could take away from it was relatively limited, but the representatives I met were passionate about the job and the culture at BlackRock so I could better visualize how a full time role will be like.

Everything Else
It was an insight day so what I could take away from it was relatively limited and it is perfectly understandable that not every area could have been covered in the short time we had.
