About You
The insight was a great opportunity in which I learnt so much about RBS - its people, culture and the opportunities in store for a potential analyst.
The analysts and associates I met during the work shadowing rotations were very friendly and sincere - made me feel like I was part of their community.
Everyone I came in contact with were very obliging and willing to assist me whenever I had a query during the course of the Spring Insight.
I learnt and enhanced many skills throughout the week, particularly communication skills, presentation skills and also time management.
The Company
The AMT session, stimulation games, work shadowing rotations and CSR activity were excellent!
I made new friends, spoke to many people working in RBS and learnt a lot about the banking industry.
Great networking sessions!
Mainly getting to know the people within RBS really excites me to want to join the bank.
A lot. Especially though some of the talks e.g. compliance talk and the introduction to each division within the bank
Very valuable. I now have a better picture of what area within Markets I would like to try and potentially take it up as a career path
Everything Else
Was paid and reimbursed for my train ticket and accommodation
A lot of opportunities e.g. through the YBA event and the closing session
Good as I got to know analysts on a more personal level as well as what their job scope entails
Yes. The opportunity to participate and volunteer in the CSR project was a really good insight as to what RBS employees do to give back to society.
Definitely. It is a great eye opener to the banking industry and also to RBS as an organisation.
