About You
A fantastic week that gave a unique insight into RBS.
The culture at RBS was great; everybody seemed interested in who you and were very happy to explain their role and answer questions.
The spring week was very well organised and the work shadowing with graduates enabled personal guidance and advise.
The networking skills session was good but the focus of the week was more on getting a feel of RBS and the different business areas than developing skills.
The Company
The spring week was very well organised with great presentations. The rotational work shadowing was the highlight of the week and we saw many business areas but due to time constraints we could not see them all; perhaps another day of shadowing would have been useful to see more areas of the business.
The culture at RBS was fantastic and all employees were very helpful friendly. It was good to meet the other interns from all over the country and this really added to the week.
A lot of time and resources had been dedicated to the spring week and it really made it a unique experience.
Having the opportunity to speak with the graduates was a great way to find out what a full time role would entail.
The week really showed the great culture at RBS
The spring week gave a clear and concise view into the industry through presentations and the interactions with employees
Everything Else
Work shadowing enabled great networking with graduates although there were not many opportunities to network with more senior employees.
Great social events which enabled all the spring interns to meet each other and graduates.
The CSR schemes which we took part in on the last day gave a clear insight into the good work that RBS do.
A thoroughly enjoyable week that gave a unique insight into RBS and the investment banking industry.
