About You
Was great fun with a relaxed atmosphere
All staff made us feel like we were as important to RBS as they were to us. We were taken out fornlunch and made to feel valued.
We received good suppprt and handbooks. Some of the timetable was difficult to work out and we had to find our own way to places, but I guess that's part of the test!
The skills developed, included training on client interaction among others, however the programme was more focused on you getting to know RBS, the staff and what they do.
The Company
It was very well structured, with an overview amd intro to RBS and specifically M&IB at the beginning .
The general atmosphere was great, everyone was made to feel relaxed and there was an emphasis on enjoying yourself as well as the informative side.
There were a number of training programmes including overall development, markets specific development and an overview/intro to what Investment Banking is.
Everyone seemed very honest, and the work shadowing really gave I good insight into the staffs everyday roles
The culture was a huge thing for RBS, and it was clear the cultur that they had.
Very valuable. It helped me realise what really goes on, giving me greater exposure to all the different areas.
Everything Else
We were provided woth accommodation if outside the M25.
There were plenty of networking opportunities
They were a great opportunity, however not always hugely attended by grads.
Yes we were involved in a Corporate Social Responsibility programme on the final day. This showed us the charoty work that we could do at RBS
I'd definitely recommend this insight, I had a great time meeting a variety of new people. It also gave me a great deal of exposure and a real holistic view of markets.
