  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed it. I felt I was given a good level of responsibility and I really liked the team I was in and the other students on the scheme.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Hardworking but friendly.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • HR were incredibly efficient and we had a very clear structure.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • As the internship also doubles as recruitment, the company are obviously trying to invest in the people who go on it - however, because final decisions about jobs have yet to be made, the firm is a little cautious.

    • I would really like to be offered a job with the firm.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes. We were given plenty of opportunity to interact with each other socially and I feel I have made some good future contacts.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • As the scheme is in London it is not ridiculously cheap but some things (like the £250 a week payment and the subsidised canteen) helped with this.

    • There were a good few pubs and bars around and about the office.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?

    • I went for lunch/drinks with my department several times, attended the office summer party and also went out with some of the people on my internship.
