  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed all of it, apart from one of the talks which was not relevant to my business area.

    • Everyone was very friendly, everything such as lunch and accommodation was provided, every single person we met, no matter how senior, was able to answer questions and talk to us.

    • Guidance was available all the time, and there was always someone on hand to help

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It was not relevant to my degree as I do not study finance, but it was very relevant to my career aspirations.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Amazingly structured, very well organised and everything ran on time.

    • A lot of it required concentration and stuff, but it was all very interesting and so wasn't boring.

    • They invested a lot of time, as much as they could in a one week placement.

    • Lots - I know have a much clealrer understanding of what I want to do in the future

    • We got to go and see employees working and sit with them at their desks.

    • It explained so much that I now know exactly what the job would involve.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Accommodation, transport and most of my food was covered.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Almost every day, and also a networking event at the end of the week.

    • Good - they had a quiz night where they provided free wine, beer and food

    • All the staff we spoke to were able to tell us about their extra-curriculars.

    • Unless they dont want to work in finance.
