About You
Really well structured, I learnt a lot and I think that it really persuaded me to apply for Barclays and Compliance.
Very welcoming atmosphere.
Well structured programme with lots of training and information opportunities.
The skills sessions were useful but I'm not sure how much they would apply to me personally.
The Company
Perfectly structured.
It was occasionally long but everyone (the employees and fellow interns) were very happy
Invested lots in skills sessions. Lots of effort went into the programme, in terms of catering, timetabling, resources...
Obviously I did not have a real impression of how the job would be like since I only shadowed a bit but I gained an insight into the different roles.
Values are very important. Flat atmosphere too which is encouraging!
I think it's really put into perspective what I want to do and the Compliance programme is definitely appealing.
Everything Else
Paid one-off after participating at the end of the week.
2 networking sessions in the evening and casual networking sessions throughout the weeks through talks, and shadowing
Got to meet a wide range of employees at different levels
Didn't really ask about this but as it is London I'm sure there are loads :)
Definitely. Very insightful.
