The Role
I have really enjoyed the exposure I have had throughout the year, as well as the support I have receieved from colleagues.
I feel that everyone has welcomed me, and I have become an integral part of my team.
My manager has always been there to answer any questions I had. I was also able to discuss issues / problems with other managers in my department.
As we work on a monthly cycle, my workload depended on which week we were in. Some weeks I has the right amount to do, whereas in other weeks, I was snowed under.
I was solely responsible for inventory analysis / reporting - work that I have now had to "teach" my manager about so that they can carry it on once I have left.
I have used some of the skills learnt in previous years, but I have also picked up new skills that I will be able to use in my final year of University. Also, the exposure I have had to business decisions from the Directors of the company has allowed me a different perspective that I feel will help me achieve my aim of working in management.
The Company
The office was quiet - but there were occasions when people bought in cakes to change the mood.
Everything was organised before I arrived, and I went on training courses that were very beneficial. The organisation was excellent.
We were sent on different training courses - and allowed to choose extra ones to help develop ourselves.
