About You
The insight was a lot of fun with great people and was a great chance to learn.
UBS made interns feel particularly valued I think during the week, stressing the importance of your future role in the company with the chance to network senior staff and an outline of future programs such as emerging talents and the internship.
Interactive presentations and guidance were given into all business areas including work shadowing into your particular chosen area.
The skills are really helpful I think for applying for internships at other firms as well as during the fast track with UBS.
The Company
The program was well structured with an insights booklet put together for the week with all the presentations, a detailed plan and contact details of staff and other students. You had a clear of what was happening in the week.
Everyone seemed very friendly from the other students, to HR to the investment bankers.
The work shadowing into your selective business area with a 1st year analyst was particularly helpful for this, getting an idea of hours, the work and environment.
The culture was very much visible during the week during presentations and events.
I had already decided but presentations of other areas confirmed that I did not want to do anything else.
Everything Else
Accommodation was also provided outside the M25.
There were speed networking and networking lunch events, as well as presentations by employees.
There was a presentation on this, although it could have been expanded on more.
It was a great learning opportunity at a great firm.
