The Role
Loved working here, gave me very valuable experience
Every event I was invited to, and my working hours were sometimes re-arranged so I could be involved with certain acitivities at work. Very flexible company.
So many people around to help, if I was ever unsure about carrying out a task, there was always someone avaiable to assist me.
I was told before hand what tasks need to be completed for the day, which I would plan out and organise into a check list. Always plenty to do
Was given the chance to create my own Meet and Greet, were I was given the ability to 'run the show'.
This work experience has definately changed me for the better, increased my confidence and help me develop my communication skills by coming out of my comfort zone and taking on new challenges.
The Company
very few days were quiet, most days there was something taking place at the office
perfect, the day I had started my placement, I was introduced to the various project I would be helping with, so I was aware of the work before I had started.
alot of time has gone into my training, every week I come into work, I have learnt something new or been trained.
I believe I have an increased chance of being employed as the company is familiar with me and understand that I am hard working. If you were to do this placement you will be at the front of the queue and may even get offered a place after the end of the placement.
The Culture
It was good - but this was at our own expense not paid for by the company so it will depend if you get on with your fellow colleagues I suppose
Fortunately I was able to find Enterprise locally which has kept the cost of living low and a comfortable commutable distant to travel.
Conveniently I did not have to move away from home, so the night life was unaffected
always opportunities at enterprise to get involved in various events, especially for charity, but as I work one day a week it was harder to participate
