About You
A great week where I really learnt a lot about the company, and met some great people.
People always went out of their way to make you feel welcome, and were genuinely interested in you.
They always thoroughly explained the task before expecting you to complete it and were always on hand to help, no question was too silly.
It's given me a much better understanding of the APC and what each of the different pathways and developments entail.
The Company
Well structured, there were some set meetings, but most of the time you worked within your department and under your mentor allowing you to build a close relationship with your team.
Everyone was willing to work hard and play hard. This made for a great atmosphere which meant that deadlines and tasks were completed on time, to a high standard; but in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
By having graduate mentors we were able to learn what it was like to work for Savills straight after university and how we could progress through the company.
It's a great place, everyone genuinely enjoys working here and there is a plenty of camaraderie around the office.
Everyone was open to talking about and giving advice on your future career path. They really want you to succeed and to help you find your place in the right department.
Everything Else
We managed to meet graduates, directors, graduate recruiters and pretty anyone and everyone who worked in the building, everyone was friendly and open and interested in finding out more about you.
Such fun, it really is a very sociable company.
There are lots of sports teams and social events throughout the year across departments, regions and the entire company.
It really does what it says, it offers you an insight into a great company, and you are allocated mentors who really look after you, show you the ropes and give you plenty of responsibility.
