About You
I felt like I got a good look at the work of the solicitors in the department I was in and spoke with me openly about their time at the firm.
I was given proper tasks to do and people were friendly and approachable.
My trainee buddy and supervisors helped me with everything I needed to do.
Some of the research I was given to do was relevant to my Law degree in the area of Trusts which was an added bonus.
The Company
There were plenty of information sessions organised and opportunities to meet the trainees and qualified lawyers in a more relaxed and social capacity.
All of the staff I met wanted to engage with me which meant I found the atmosphere very positive and encourgaing.
I was taken to a meeting along with all the other members of the department I was sat in.
Sitting with a trainee and having coffee with my supervisors gave me an opporunity to ask all of my questions.
Attending the firm wide drinks and awards event gave a good look at what the firm is all about.
The week gave me a great into Taylor Wessing and the work of commerical solicitors.
Everything Else
£250/pw
At the firm wide drinks event and the department tea party I had the chance to chat to partners and associates.
The trainees organised a dinner and a drinks event which were both good fun.
We saw the firm choir in action and heard about the charity bike ride from London to Paris.
It was an interesting and enjoyable week.
