About You
Variety of activities every day, they tried to make it fun.
All employees were happy to talk to us and answer any questions we had.
Very helpful in explaining new terminology and acronyms and providing directions to places to eat and other RBS buildings.
Presentation skills workshop could be helpful for degree, but most information/skills will only really be helpful for future career decisions and interviews.
The Company
Activities were organised at all times and generally this times were stuck to well.
Good atmosphere between both the interns and employees, everybody was friendly and relaxed.
There will skills sessions and new terminology was introduced.
There were job shadowing sessions and the effectiveness of these depended on the division and persin you were shadowing, some were good at providing an insight to a full time role.
Being in the offices whilst people were working was very useful to see how they interact.
Able to find out much more about what each role would actual entail.
Everything Else
Interns from outside the m25 were provided with accommodation for the duration of the week as well as getting travel and food expenses reimbursed.
Networking opportunities and met employees during various activities and job shadowing sessions
2 networking sessions. As most interns were staying to the same hotel there was plenty of chance to social with them in the evening.
Seems to be that graduates have to organise their own activities outside of work but this does happen.
Very interesting and helpful, particularly if unsure of which area appeals most.
