The Role
Hours are hard, but other than that - great
You get some of 'intern treatment', but it's better not to be expected to know everything on day one than the other way around. You're expected to pick up stuff really fast.
Associate interns are petted by seniors, really easy access to them
Really busy, but it's the nature of the business
You get really basic stuff as your first task, the better you deal with it the more complicated the next one will be.
Gives really a good feel of what banking is about.
The Company
The later is the hour the more relaxed atmosphere (i.e. seniors went home)
Some things were missing, but assistants took care of it in no time.
For a relatively short internship a lot of trainings, speaker series and other activities aimed to give interns better understanting of what the bank is about.
DB takes 7-8 MBA interns, pobably all that do well will get a job
The Culture
Support network from fellow LBS MBAs is amazing!
It's London...
Who goes out in the City?
