The Role
This was not one of the most exciting experiences for me as the tasks i was told to carry out were not interesting.
No problems trying to communicate with the colleagues who worked alongside me and they all welcomed me into the team
I was given the necessary support from my supervisor when i first started and from then tasks were relatively easy.
Always had orders to process
I large amount of responsibility. If i was to miss process an order the company would have had to deal with customer complaints
Various IT skills were needed when taking customer orders so i improved these and i also learnt how to become more efficient in dealing with problems
The Company
A very big environment where its very hard to know everybody. This makes is more fun though beca
The internship was self organised. The company asked me where abouts i was interested in working and they accommodated for this very well.
They showed me the order system and taught me how to process customer orders. After a few shifts where i was helped the rest of my time became quite easy.
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
I enjoyed the work and thought their setup was very good. If i lost interest in my degree work i would consider this as a back up
The Culture
I was the only placement student at the time so i cant comment
Not the cheapest area, quite remote as well so travel costs were high
No nightlife in this area
As the surrounding area was quite quiet there was no much to do outside of work. A few sports teams were available
