About You
I enjoyed this insight to a very high extent. There were many things to do and i was never left alone.
I was treated in a professional way which made my time and presence feel valued by the banking company.
I was introduced to the banking system on a computer first and was shown around the offices before work.
My math skills were tested several times and also my ability to deal with customers.
The Company
I followed a similar schedule everyday so it was it a fairly simple organisation but it worked well.
Always a positive environment with people genuinely willing to help customers and one another
I was shown the computer system in depth when i first started and training to deal with particular customer situations
The company operated in a very similar way everyday. I think it would be different if i was to work in another branch though.
I did not really learn about the company culture
The insight has not affected which path have to decided to take with my career
Everything Else
I was not paid for this experience unfortunately
Once i started there were no meetings that i was allowed to attend to so i wasnt able to meet other members of staff
None of the above were mentioned to me during my time there
A lot of societies and clubs in the area so i had a lot of option of what to do outside of work.
This was a good placement where i got a feel for what it would be like to work in such an environment
