The Role
Pretty good, the people are really friendly, helpful Sometimes the hours are bit too long, especially if you have other commitments...but salary compensates for that....
The colleagues I have been given the opportunity to work with have been really helpful. They always praise me and regard my presence here valuable.
Not much guidance was given with regards to what I had to do. A list of requirements were my only attention and I had to use my skills to create something from scratch and use a number of existing technologies.
Sometimes when I finish something quicker than I originally thought, I might be bored for some-time only because my manager/supervisor is too busy to set me new tasks.
Since this was a newly-created project/task the responsibility as such was low, but the fact that I had to delivery something at the end of my placement made me responsible for it.
Time-management was one of the most important skills I have acquired and also priotity judgement.
The Company
Very well organised. with almost weekly-lunch and learns.....events throughout the internship....
A whole week of cross-divisional training, learning about the bank's divisions and areas.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
since this is an institution that takes on graduates on a yearly basis...
The Culture
quite expensive.....
good but very expensive...
yes the community challenge - a whole day volunteering...
