About You
Good overview of all divisions, so will be appealing for people that are not sure where to go into. But not very helpful for people who are determined to get into technology division since they don't really have a lot of activities related to the technology division.
Participants might be a bit aggressive sometimes, but generally the recruiters and analysts that you get to meet in the company are very nice.
Very helpful campus recruiters, and also quite a lot of analysts are willing to share.
Good to let you have an insight of the investment banking industry
The Company
Generally get long days throughout the week, but normally the time management is really good and will not overrun too badly. Have in-depth overview of each division within the bank. However, work shadowing organisation seems a bit messed up since some people didn't get to shadow what they wanted to.
People might be a bit competitive but a good learning experience.
Did not really see the bank put a lot of effort in technology division, though they emphasised many times that the bank invest a lot in this.
Work shadowing and talking to analysts helps a lot
Met a lot of people within the bank and get to know more about the culture and environment
Good taste of the industry
Everything Else
Live within London did not need to reimburse
Have opportunity to meet new people every day
Many analysts and interns here to answer questions
Have events about corporate responsibility
Depends what kind of experience they want. If just an insight to the industry probably yes.
