About You
I very much enjoyed it.
I was doing tasks that my graduate would have done otherwise therefore I felt like a was truly able to contribute and was doing stuff that was useful and valued.
People were always about to answer questions. Mentor was always there to give guidance. I never felt like I could not ask for help
Gave me a practical insight into the profession, something that can't always be learnt at uni. Learnt skills that I can use in aspects of my degree
The Company
Not that well structured but that did not matter as there was always stuff to do and people to discuss things with. Its probably better not being completely structured
A very busy office but everyone was still very welcoming. Strong work ethos but that is good
Thoroughly answered any questions I had and taught me aspects of the job along the way through practical experience.
Got a sense of what it would be like as a graduate there and the kinds of tasks that are involved.
Yes, good understanding of the companies culture and how things work.
Reaffirmed the career path I was deciding on, learnt more about my interests. Made me more aware of the opportunities available.
Everything Else
Travel expenses were all paid for.
Yes. A lunch with directors and then drinks after work with employees from across the business.
Great, good opportunity to speak to people outside the office where its more relaxed
Yes, socials are regularly held. Sports events etc are organised.
Yes, I would recommend this insight to a friend. Very good experience
