About You
I loved my placement with unilever because of the constant challenges that were presented my way and the willingness of others to help you.
I was welcomed into the company when i joined and treated like they needed me
I was assisted every step of the way when new concepts were explained to me.
As i was carrying out such a wide range of tasks i learned many useful skills that could assist my degree studies and any possible job
The Company
My university organised the trip once my application was accepted. All i had to do then was turn up on the day.
There was always a calm atmosphere in the offices and made it a nice place to work in
A lot of interest and time was shown in my which made me feel very comfortable and at home.
Other employee's carried out their work as normal so i could see what it is like to have a full time role at the company
From what i could tell the company worked in a different way to how i thought and how i believe other companies work
I was considering a job in the chemical engineering section before but now i feel it is definitely to right option for my future.
Everything Else
Well enough
I had the opportunities to speak to loads of people in the company and help spread my name
Good opportunities which might have increased my chances of getting a permanent job.
Many things to do outside out work including going out in the evening but then also leisure activities too.
This was a good experience and i would definitely recommend it to any prospect chemical engineers.
