About You
The whole insights week was very enjoyable. Both the content and the people made it a great experience.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was easy to come and ask questions, everyone was ready to give some of their time.
There was a lot of guidance and support, everything was very well explained and people were ready to help and give advice.
We had a lot of group exercises which helped in building team working skills. Teams were changing constantly, which is also a big plus.
The Company
The insight week was very well structured. A good balance between theoretical presentations, workshops and networking sessions.
The general atmosphere during the whole week was really nice. Everyone was very friendly and the group activities were a good fun.
The company invested a significant amount of time and resources. Many business people spent a lot of their time giving lectures and spending time with us.
We had a chance to meet many people working in a bank and most importantly spent some time shadowing, so it was a good chance to understand what it would be like to actually have a full time role.
Helped a lot as we had a chance to spend some time with the employees and the presentations also gave an insight into that.
Everything Else
The hotel was and the train tickets were reimbursed. Most of the meals were provided as well.
There were plenty of opportunities to meet employees and spend time with them.
The best social event to meet other interns was a bowling session, which was really fun. There was speed networking session to meet some senior employees and networking lunch to meet graduates.
There was a presentation on the activities you can get involved outside of work.
I would definitely recommend an insight week in UBS. It has a good structure, well balanced content and the people are very friendly and helpful.
