About You
Really enjoyed it my week Insight scheme at Savills. I made lots of great friends too and have exchanged numbers/ Facebook details to keep in contact.
I had to prepare work for several members of the department I was working with and had to prepare work for the director where I had to submit reports which cost £9 each time, so in that sense I felt I was given a good amount of responsibility.
The programme was very well organised and I was given good guidance from my mentor who I felt comfortable with to be able to ask questions.
I think I really benefited from being exposed to this sort of competitive programme and gave me skills in terms of networking and learning what I thought were good qualities in other people that I can now apply to myself.
The Company
Everyone was planned very well.
Really great! I had organised drinks four nights of my week with different sets of people in the company which was a really great opportunity to socialise in a less formal circumstance.
I was given many responsibilities which as I have said before If I had of messed them up it would have cost the company money therefore they trusted my ability to go ahead with the tasks that they set me.
Obviously it is hard to get to grips with what a company can offer in one week but several department talks were presented to us which was very helpful.
I am aware that property is a very socialable sector and having these key skills are very important.
Several talks were organised to give an insight into the other departments in the firm that were really great. From the meetings, I have decided that I am most interested in the development side of property.
Everything Else
We were given up to £150 in travel expenses.
Yes. I had drinks four nights out of five.
The catering at Savills is amazing!
I was aware that is lots of events that employees can go to. Including being involved in company sports teams.
Yes!
