About You
very exciting week , a lot of presentations but these were very useful, there were visits to the trading floor, workshops, icebreakers. It was a very busy week, they would always give you something to do.
There were people from all divisions that came in and gave presentations about their work life. There were also lots of networking sessions where MDs from division came and chatted with you , advised you on how to succeed and overall all the employees seemed very interested in you.
There was guidance available all the time, you just need to ask them
developed a lots of skills, learned a lot about financial tools etc...
The Company
The program was very well organised and structured, at the start a massive booklet was handed which contained the program schedule for the week ahead. This booklet was very helpful, it even had information about the other insights, their name, the uni they come from
There were a lots icebreaker activities so you can get to know other insights, also there were workshops for each division which was fun.
A lot, especially the booklet given at the first day , it contained very detailed information about UBS. Also a another booklet was given , this is a very good beginner guide to IB , explains how a bank is structured.
From Work shadowing and from the networking sessions everyone seems to be happy with the company even people in IBD which was quite surprising.
alot
The presentations were very useful, but you can only work shadow in one chosen sector. It would have been nice to work shadow in all divisions.
