About You
It was a great week, filled with a variety of events, from presentations to networking, that taught us more about the bank as well as allowed us to learn and improve our skills.
Felt like we were part of the company throughout the week. All the staff were very friendly and we could easily talk to them if we had any problems.
Had a busy timetable full off presentations on various business lines and skill sessions as well as games. Additionally networking provided us with a really insight into the company and opportunities available.
Had a few skill sessions that gave us a lot of tips on how to improve and develop key skills that are required to succeed in the business as well as in other situations. These will be very helpful in the future at university.
The Company
Received a timetable at the beginning of the week, which was followed on the whole perfectly. Some breaks were long and others were needed in between presentations.
The atmosphere was warm, everyone was happy to be there. There was very little tension and it was an enjoyable week.
The firm invested a lot in us, through all the activities during the week which developed our knowledge and skills. Also had networking sections after work during the dinner and at drinks.
The week contained a lot of presentations that helped us ascertain which line of business would be ideal for us.
There was a lot of emphasis on the culture of the bank and whether it would be a good fit for us. Always told about the supportive nature the bank brings.
Got a lot of information through networking and presentations about what would be right for me.
Everything Else
Got reimbursed for travel expenses, others also received accommodation.
There were 2 main sessions, dinner and drinks. Apart from that had lunches and the opportunity after presentations to talk with employees.
At times it was hard to find an employee in the business line you were interested in but overall a good opportunity to learn about the bank and employees.
Had a presentation on CSR as well as other forums such as the innovation forum. A lot of events that employees can take part in.
Gained a lot of information during the week but more importantly it was very enjoyable and met a of new friends.
