About You
Really fun, filled with all sorts different activities and information sessions. Really informative.
Even though I may be still at university, they were very happy to listen to our ideas and questions. Felt like we were working there already.
Any questions received an excellent detailed answer.
Presentation skills, how to carry yourself, first impressions. All very, very useful for any sort of job and just generally in life as well.
The Company
Obviously a lot of organisation and planning went into this since we were able to meet and talk to some pretty senior people within the organization.
Enthusiastic yet casual. Unfortunately a lot of people were also a bit tired and some people felt that the numerous business overviews became a bit tedious, but still very active and fun.
They really pulled together all the resources they had to make the time worthwhile.
Unfortunately, not a fault of the company itself, but the places I wanted to work shadow were all highly confidential. However, from what I heard about others who were able to work shadow, they thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt a lot about it.
After talking to so many people in a wide range of departments, I really got an idea of what the company was all about.
Very helpful. A pity I did not get to work shadow, but all the networking events made up for that.
Everything Else
Fully reimbursed. No complications.
Tons. ALmost every night was a social networking drinks event. And thursday was an excellent dinner where we got to sit around with business analysts for several hours and really get to know them.
Everyone was really friendly and helpful, as well as really eager to talk and chat with us. No question was too stupid.
We had a whole overview of all the different things that employees can get involved in outside of their daily jobs. the fact that they are run by the employees themselves was a really good indication of the commitment employees have to making peoples lives better.
Really good thing for people who are interested in banking in general, but also Bank of America.
