The Role
It would be great to be paid to do this job
My work was valued, but because of the staff turnover it was a little difficult to build relationships
I was given a good deal of support, but often I decided what work I wanted to do with myself on a daily basis which was excellent
Some days were slow, others were hectic, some were just right. The Goldilocks experience
Enough to feel I was making an impact on the (regional) organisation and that I did the work entirely myself
I hope to use these skills in the furture, but they are a niche skill which may not be worthwhile should i take another career direction
The Company
Days were interchangable
It took a little while to work out where I was going
Was giving a training day but charity's cannot afford to invest in temporary interns extensively
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
There are few paid jobs available and an internship with them is usually not enough experience
The Culture
Possible I didn't involve myself enough
Cardiff- a capital fairly touristy city nowadays but its not London
Cardiff has a lot going on but too much of it involves heavy drinking
Not Oxfam related but Cardiff has plenty going on
