About You
I enjoyed the various group work sessions and overviews about the bank. The tips from the presentation and interview sessions were very invaluable.
Everybody was willing to be of help. Yes, both the recruitment team and the workers at the bank.
I received a lot of help from the recruitment team as well as the workers I met at the bank.
I learnt some invaluable interview and presentation skills. This continues to be of great help to me.
The Company
The Insight Week was well planned. We were engaged at every moment. However, there were a few group activities which could not be discussed because of time constraint.
At Bank of America Merrill Lynch, there is a lot of unity. Everybody sees themselves as belonging to one team. Thus, everybody was willing to be of assistance and also be a friend. It is OK to have a lot of questions and ask each an every one of them.
An invited guest trained us on the skills required for a good presentation. The were many other opportunities to learn about presentation skills as well as some interview tips.
I was able to understand the role and importance of each division to the success of the bank.
Everybody sees themselves as belonging to one team. The Spring Insight Week experience made me realize this.
Invaluable.
Everything Else
Baml bore my flight expense to London, my travel expense to the office, and my one week stay at Marlin Apartment.
Networking opportunities were scheduled mainly during lunch breaks. There were other networking opportunities as well.
I made a lot of contacts and friends through the various networking opportunities.
There are a lot of networks at baml that one could join. There is a network for the disabled, females, etc. There are a lot of opportunities to engage in various volunteer work as well.
It is a great opportunity to know the bank, choose a career path, develop ones self and learn a lot of important skills.
