About You
It was very interesting to have this inside vied of the bank and all its different divisions. It gave me a clear idea on how a leading financial institution actually operates.
Having the opportunity to meet with some of the best and brightest analysts of your prestigious institution, discussing with them on their jobs and also participating to some activities alongside them was one of the best experiences I had during this week.
The human resource team and the analysts were available to all our questions during the insight week.
I think that with all the informations that had been given to us last week, now financial courses may seem less abstract and theoretical.
The Company
The organisation of the week was perfect. Everything went smoothly.
The interns, the HR team and the analyst were very nice. The atmosphere was so pleasant that it was sad to say good bye to all those people.
The work shadowing, the study cases and the different presentations we had showed the interest the bank had in us and how they believed in us.
Discussing with the analysts on their day to day job was very interesting since we could understand their jobs.
At each presentation, we could perfectly figure the culture of the bank.
The work shadowing was actually the perfect way to help us step up our mind on the future career path we may have in the bank since we had the opportunity to live for a few ours the experience of a banker in the divisions we preferred.
Everything Else
To be reimbursed during the next weeks
We had the opportunity to meet other employees each day for the week. And that was the most interesting thing of the program since we had the opportunity to have a personal approach with a large number of them.
The dinner and the cocktail were perfectly organized in order for use to meet with different personalities of the bank.
The session about the networking within the bank gave us an idea on the different "clubs" the employees could get involved into outside of work.
I think this experience is a perfect first approach to the financial sector for any first year student interested in the banking sector.
