The Role
I really enjoyed my placement with BridgeGlobal. Totally cool organisation on every aspect from work culture to work place.
I was given great support from the co-founders Tom and Sam. Not only was their advice very insightful, but they always encouraged me to go further with my goals. That experience is invaluable.
I had a very engaging and fulfilling role. However, whilst I was very stimulated, I was far from overworked and had the perfect work-life balance.
For the sector I was working on, I was given an excellent level of support.
The researching skills, experience of working for a social enterprise and most importantly working in a global domain mean that I really feel much more prepared for future roles. - Thanks team BG!
The Company
There was a really good work atmosphere. Firstly, working the The HUB has many benefits. A great, central London location which makes the journey to work very inspiring as you see the sights of London. Secondly, The HUB itself is a space full of social enterprises so there is an awesome atmosphere of people doing something for the cause. The space itself is littered with bean bags and random work spaces, with tea and coffee complimentary. Working with the Bridge Global team was also incredible fun. I actually looked forward to spending time in the office which cant be said for most other work places!
y role was very clear from the beginning.
BridgeGlobal entrusted to do my job from very early on and gave me much confidence in doing so.

The whole idea of BridgeGlobal is personal development through international experiences. I have most definitely gained that and as a result am about to continue my international journey with an international sports marketing company. This would not have been possible without the support provided by BridgeGlobal.
The Culture
There was an excellent social scene. Some of the people I have met at BridgeGlobal will be lifelong friendships.
Unfortunately, the cost of living in London is very high. However, once posted to Mumbai I had an amazing quality of life.
The night-life is London is awesome if a little expensive. In Mumbai, it was amazing and relatively cheap compared to London. The general atmosphere of warm weather and cool surroundings was awesome to experience.
Many! I had a vast arrange of activities outside 'work'. Firstly, work itself provided many opportunities, not least international travel. I would do fun activities such as play football with friends, meet clients for drinks after meetings and go to random classes such as laughing meditation!!
