About You
Amazing experience!
They treat you like you're a full-time employee whilst you are there.
Everyone is friendly and willing to help you, whether it be scheduled or if you are reaching out to someone.
Some of the technical skills we learnt are only really useful in IBD or similar professions, but most are tangible elsewhere.
The Company
Always knew where and when we were supposed to be for any given session
Always enjoyable
They treat you like you're one of their own. But due to confidential nature of IBD, there are some things you don't get access to.
Fantastic insight into what IBD employees do.
You have a very good idea of how things work by the time you leave.
Very good idea of what working in IBD entails so it helped greatly.
Everything Else
Payment safely covers living expenses for the fortnight.
Met a range of individuals ranging from 1st yr analysts to members of the management committee.
Really good, sometimes the sessions seemed too short, but the employees are very busy so it was more than understandable.
The analysts told us about what they do if they have free weekends, and the firm has a lot of affinity networks one can get involved with.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in IBD, you must apply to this programme.
