About You
The week was great. It was informative, relaxed and well structured. The assessment at the end didn't put a damper on the week although waiting for the results of our numerical did did give rise to a slightly more tense atmosphere for a short time.
Everyone I interacted with seemed keen to help as much as they could.
There were talks on how to be successful at the assessment centre which were useful. The team running the event made everything involving choices clear and answered the questions we had.
The information and experiences during the week proved useful in confirming the department I wanted to work in once I graduate.
The Company
There was not a moment at which we did not know what we were doing.
Understandably, on the first day people were a little tense. After the planned social on the first evening everyone was relaxed and seemed to be enjoying themselves. The team activities during the week really helped the atmosphere.
For a spring week the company took a good interest in us.
We got to talk to people who did the jobs we were thinking of applying for and they seemed to be very honest about their experiences and we could ask lots of questions.
I felt that I got a good understanding of the culture.
There were talks from each department and we got to shadow the department we were interested in.
Everything Else
Paid expenses for travel if you live outside the M25 and they offer accommodation for the week.
There were chances to meet employees at every level of the firm.
Yes, there was one social event at the beginning of the week and networking throughout the week with lots of different groups.
Yes, there was a couple of hours dedicated to projects that employees could get involved with.
Yes - it was a very good experience.
