About You
I enjoyed the insight as it was very well structured, with plenty of opportunities to see different parts of the division and to meet many employees across the firm.
The HR team was absolutely incredible, and so were the assessors who interviewed us at the end of the week. In my time with the division it would depend on the person I was placed with, but generally it was incredibly welcoming.
Got to see a lot, try a lot, and it was very tailored to my personal interests.
As I don't do a finance-based degree, I suspect the biggest help the internship has given is for jobs after university.
The Company
Very well structured, with evenings off sometimes for us to have down time
My division was particularly great - the Private Bank!
People gave their time and effort to working with me, and I felt like a valued member of the team
Got to see every aspect of the role except meeting clients. Attended meetings, worked with different job descriptions etc.
Citi's culture is the best I've ever encountered and this shone through in nearly every aspect of the internship.
Everything Else
Plenty! Especially if you're proactive
Lots of fun!
I would definitely recommend the insight - everybody was helpful and I think all the students on the insight enjoyed immensely.
