About You
Balance combination between hard work, where I was given actual meaningful work which helped (rather than work given to keep me out of partner's hair, though there was a bit of this) and social events etc
People knew my name, chatted with me and made me feel welcome. People came to me with work rather than me having to go round offering my help
Largely brought into things with a brief introfuction, but I was able to ask as many questions as I needed and having a trainee 'buddy' on hand meant i was never out of my depth (too much anyway)
I feel a lot more confident talking about areas i was previously unsure about
The Company
Largely structured like a normal working day, with a few vac scheme lectures / activities etc
Very friendly, but hard working
Definitely got a representative idea of what a full time career as a trainee would be like
Everything Else
Relatively low as far as vac schemes go, but still a tidy amount.
Largely restricted to trainees and associates, but the occasional chance to talk to someone more high up
COuld have been more, only 2 all week.
Mentioned in a lecture, but no real details
Definitely, a nice time all round,, if exhausting
