    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Balance combination between hard work, where I was given actual meaningful work which helped (rather than work given to keep me out of partner's hair, though there was a bit of this) and social events etc

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • People knew my name, chatted with me and made me feel welcome. People came to me with work rather than me having to go round offering my help

    4/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Largely brought into things with a brief introfuction, but I was able to ask as many questions as I needed and having a trainee 'buddy' on hand meant i was never out of my depth (too much anyway)

    3/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel a lot more confident talking about areas i was previously unsure about

    4/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Largely structured like a normal working day, with a few vac scheme lectures / activities etc

    4/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very friendly, but hard working

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • 3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Definitely got a representative idea of what a full time career as a trainee would be like

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • 5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • 4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Relatively low as far as vac schemes go, but still a tidy amount.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Largely restricted to trainees and associates, but the occasional chance to talk to someone more high up

    4/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • COuld have been more, only 2 all week.

    4/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Mentioned in a lecture, but no real details

    4/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Definitely, a nice time all round,, if exhausting

    4/5
