About You
Said a lot about the firm as a whole, everyone involved was very supportive and was a great insight into the career area.
A great amount of effort put into everyone on the scheme.
All questions answered, above and beyond call of duty.
Allowed us to practice many relevant skills we would need a) for future applications and b) in a career as a commercial lawyer.
The Company
Great idea to do practice assessment day at the end of the scheme.
Very friendly within the group doing the vac scheme, everyone involved with the scheme from the HL side was approachable, knowledgeable and supportive.
Huge amount of effort put into the day-to-day activities.
We all got to see the real day-to-day life of a commercial lawyer, particularly from a trainee's standpoint.
I'm left in no doubt as to the culture of the firm - supportive, approachable, more than willing to help, yet incredibly professional and focused on the client's needs.
Everything Else
Reimbursement was offered but not needed in my case.
Every day!
The staff coming along to network with us were friendly, approachable and willing to answer any questions we had.
I wouldn't count pro bono as 'outside of work', but we did talk about (for example) sports teams within the firm and social events now and again.
