About You
I greatly enjoyed the insight week, it was a very good learning experience that provided a great insight into the company.
We were made to feel very valued - we were paid a great deal of attention, we were able to network with very senior members of the company, and we had talks from heads of departments.
HR were very attentive at making sure we were enjoying ourselves as well as learning the appropriate material.
The information we received has prepared us well for the next steps into working at the company, especially for the summer internship.
The Company
The insight week had a very set timetable that included talks, networking, presentations and group games. We were never bored!
Very enjoyable, not to pressuring or intimidating.
They were very attentive, it felt like we were being appreciated on a personal level as well as part of the entire group.
Very much so, we were given huge opportunities to talk to as many current employees as possible to really get a feel for the firm.
Everyone emphasised how friendly the company is, and how helpful people are when you are starting out at a junior level.
We were given overviews of all the departments so we could get a greater understanding of the mechanics within the bank, and we could then compare the tasks and atmosphere within each department.
Everything Else
We had several networking meals, as well as networking drinks after our first day, and a closing dinner.
The networking events were fairly relaxed, you were able to enjoy yourself as well as meet company members.
