About You
The insight was very enjoyable, from the people I met to the things I was doing every day; I enjoyed every minute!
JP Morgan did very well to make all of us at the insight week feel welcome; this ranged from providing accomodation, paying for travel, providing us with food. They were great!
I received a lot of guidance; we were assigned mentors who we could talk to me. We could approach anyone with questions, and were treated very well.
We learnt a lot of skills that can be applied across many different jobs and day-to-day activities; they weren't specifically tailored to working at JP Morgan
The Company
The insight was very structured and flowed well; this allowed us to develop our knowledge gradually.
The atmosphere was incredible; everyone wanted to be there and wanted to get to know each other. There were several activities that took place throughout the week which were good fun! They really encouraged us to work with each other. We've all had so much fun we've all decided to stay in contact!
JP Morgan assigned us a mentor who would personally answer our questions and talk with us about our future plans within investment banking.
Being within JP Morgan, we understood what life was like within the company and which values they upheld the most. We could see how JP Morgan treated its employees; it was clear to see what a normal day at JP Morgan would be like.
The insight was very helpful; we had a glimpse of what everyday life is like and we could talk to our mentors about it.
Everything Else
This was such a relief; I didn't have to worry about running out of money. I felt very looked after by the company.
There was a networking session every day, which was incredibly valuable; I met a lot of inspirational people.
The networking opportunities were great, I was able to meet and talk to everyone. It happened during lunch, however, and I feel that lunch and networking could have been separated.
The information that we were given were mainly about different areas within the company; we briefly heard about activities outside of JP Morgan
This week was definitely worth every minute; I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
