The Role
Very enjoyable two weeks - am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work at the firm.
Felt at ease within the department from day one - colleagues were very approachable and my contributions were appreciated.
Always felt able to approach someone and ask questions if uncertain, which made handling some of the more complicated tasks easier than it might otherwise have been.
Not too much but enough to keep busy, and was able to seek other work when required.
Was trusted with the outcome of the tasks I was set, but not thrown in the deep end and was able to ask for work to be checked and feedback given.
Has reinforced my belief that commercial law is where I would like to establish a career.
The Company
Hard-working but still laid back enough and at times a good laugh.
Very well structured from the induction day onwards.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Would be happy to work there if given the opportunity.
The Culture
Really good group of people to spend two weeks with and look forward to meeting up again in the future.
Birmingham's never the cheapest, but not too bad all things considered.
Went to the Mailbox and Brindleyplace so pretty good.
Social events formed part of the placement, and we also had time to meet up every day and on the final day as well.
