About You
Overall an enjoyable week with a good group of highly competent people. Gave an excellent insight into the workings of an investment bank.
I felt like we were very much the centre of attention during the week, UBS obviously put in a lot of effort into quality catering and giving us exposure to employees in different areas. Impressive.
Gave us interview techniques and other workshops. Very well structured so no real need for the students to worry.
Again, gave a good insight into the different areas of the firm. Helped me decide what technical skills I would focus on in my final years, depending on how widely used they are.
The Company
Excellent overall.
Good group of people overall. All very pleasant and very well qualified. Night out on the Monday was very informal and helped us bond. HR staff were very pleasant and accommodating throughout.
Gave us interviews and made us do presentations. Hard at first but very rewarding.
Very insightful, all departments explained.
Employees had only good words to say about the company. At times this came across as insincere, the recent history of UBS restructuring was swept under the carpet and the rogue trader was the elephant in the room.
Everything Else
Good apartment style accommodation.
