    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • Really good, you get a wide variety of sessions which helps to keep you interested the whole week. They've got a nice bunch of HR staff which made the difference

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • You get close interaction with senior people (theres a meal where the number of vp / directors is ridiculous..1 or more per 3 students). The analysts tell the truth and you have a chance to ask anything you want. They really do welcome you in

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I would have put this at full marks; you need to take advantage of the many opportunities on the week. You aren't spoon fed as such. i.e. get stuck in, ask questions and build contacts

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Lots of skills learned. Presentation work shop was excellent. Team work important etc.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Excellent stucture..needed a little more time on chosen field

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • No way near as competitive (on the face of it of course) as I had thought it would be. At least in my groups people stayed polite whilst still trying to assert themselves

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Tough in one week given its an insight week..not a training week but there was always an atmosphere of learning

    4/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Good insight as long as you ask the questions. Analysts are always best to talk to first. They give you many opportunities to do this

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • Everyone we spoke to loved working there (clearly they wouldn't allow unhappy people there) but it seems pretty genuine and across the board

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Great, cements previous decisions and lets you see other alternatives if your first choice doesn't work out

    5/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Loads!

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Excellent, different types of sessions at different times. Perfect

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Volunteering / corporate responsibility session. I didn't chat a lot about spare time.

    4/5
