About You
Very challenging week but very informative and enjoyable at the same time.
All other interns were very friendly. Business representatives were willing to spend time explaining simple concepts to insight interns.
There was a group presentation where little support was provided. However, all questions would be answered.
The soft skills gained: communication skills, time management, how to deal with people from different background are all essentials in my future career development.
The Company
Very well structured with an outline of week (which was handed out on the first day)
Very friendly. Everyone was willing to help and answer my questions. Other interns are all friendly and I met people from all around the globe: Africa, Asia, Europe, etc.
There were a lot of networking event in which very high level directors came.
There were a lot of work shadowing sessions and the human resources team would always be around to answer any questions that I had in mind.
Bank of America Merrill Lynch values diversity and team work from what I saw during the insight programme.
I would definitely be more informed to apply for a summer internship.
Everything Else
There was even a closing dinner where I got to talk to business representatives two-to-one.
There was a welcome drink on Monday evening and a closing dinner on Friday evening.
There were other societies, such as LGBT, volunteering, etc.
Strongly recommended.
