    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • It was one of the best weeks I had. It was full of excitements and learning. I am sure everybody there felt the same way

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt like I knew everybody there. I just go to someone, introduce myself, and just start talking. Everybody there was smiling and happy.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Everybody there supported me. Either it was the campus recruitment or the workers we shadowed. I felt all the people I met were looking at me like I am a part of their team.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I didn't learn a lot of technical stuff but I certainly did learn a lot of skills. I very much enjoyed the technology interactive session. It gave me a real feeling of how it actually feels to be working in a technology division. The best presentation was the presentation skills session by the comedian. I certainly learnt a lot from that. Oh and the innovation session, there was very good, too. I can go on and on and on. It's hard to pick one.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was very well structured. We were kept busy all the time. You can't even feel the time passing.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere was amazing. I almost cried when I left on the last day. I somehow felt connected to the place and to all fellow students there. They were all amazing.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They certainly invested a lot on us. We could see that. I also heard from the employees there how much the bank invests in them to improve continuously.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • It did definitely helped to understand how it feels to be working there and the different divisions at the bank, some of which that I never heard of. Working shadowing was good. Maybe it was not in the specific area that I was interested in but it still helped to understand the environment there.

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The culture at BAML is simply the best. It's like a family. Everybody is your friend. You can never be scared to ask any question no matter how small it is.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • I know now which division I am going for exactly, and I have been given the chance to take a part in the assessment center for the summer internship next year. I am certainly going to fight for a place there.
