About You
Very enjoyable.
Treated like one of the firm - which is with a great deal of amicability.
As much as I needed
Useful insight into what a training contract would be like.
The Company
Good balannce of office work to get a real idea of the hour-by-hour work that people do and events put on which break up the day nicely.
Great ethos
The first day was entirely training and inductions - any additional training was on offer.
The insight was short so it's very difficulty to see work on a macro level or to be set anything that lasted much more than a few hours.
The positive ethos as promoted by events, open days, brochures etc. permeated the office floor.
It very much sold Baker & McKenzie
Everything Else
£310 a-week
Networking in and around the office was encouraged. There were also half a dozen events put on solely for this purpose as well as a lunch with the management committee which was a very impressive event.
Relaxed, not forced and with food and drink!
Heard a lot about what the company offers but not a lot about what people tend to do on an individual basis.
