About You
It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience with amazing people
They really valued our skills and all of us as individulas
HR staff was there to support us every step of the way. Extremely friendly, fun and approachable people
Team work exercises are always useful. However, very little technical knowledge was imparted
The Company
Well structured, but did run over time on several occasions. Could have used a longer lunch break. Also, all the tests were crammed with 3 hours which was exhausting
It was not aggressive at all. Extremely comfortable and the PwC staff and students were all a very friendly bunch. Very accomodating and lots of fun
Little training, but it was clear that time and money and effort had gone into developing our skills via Talent Academy
Only networking with individuals allowed that. Since most of them were partners who had worked 10-30+ years in PwC, it was difficult to get an idea of what a graduate role would look like. Would have preferred, some insight into all the different departments via a presentation and networking with associates and manager level staff as well.
It really helped understand PwC's culture. No generic stuff, instead they explained exactly how and why PwC differentiated itself from the remaining big 4
While i know more about PwC, I know little about the various departments
Everything Else
Reimburse up to 15 pounds
Yes, mainly partners of the firm. Very senior employees
Well managed, good ratios
there was a presentation on the Teach first initiative
If you want to learn about PwC and have some fun, then yes go for it. If you want to learn technical stuff and really get an insight into assurance, consulting, tax, deals etc, then you should instead go for PwC's insight day or shadowing opportunities.
