About You
Very enjoyable. However, think it was more suited to first year students than those who are in 2nd year of four year degrees.
Treated well. Given plenty of food, water, free gifts etc.
Didn't have to complete any real work and so support or guidance wasn't really necessary, however everything we did do was explained well.
Personal branding session was highly relevant for life skills and career aspirations, applicable to any firm
The Company
Given timetable at beginning and this was generally properly adhered to. No real blips.
Very enjoyable, fun and friendly
Difficult as it was only a 2 day 'Pathfinder' scheme, although we were given insight into eg the strategy/vision of the firm which is valuable for future interviews.
Found out quite a lot about the firm itself, but hard in a short time to get a real and completely genuine sense of what working there would be like with regards to how hard they work, hours etc
Having exposure to lots if different trainees really helped with this.
Definitely didn't put me off commercial law!!
Everything Else
Fair reimbursal for travel expenses
Met plenty of trainees
Very enjoyable cookery evening!
We heard about different existing networks and sports activities
Would recommend to first year law students
