About You
Very well organised, You are well supervised from the start, and are never left unclear as to what is occurring.
They obviously want you to succeed and will provide you every opportunity to do so. You spend your time in a very nice hotel, with plentiful amounts of food in a nice setting. All this really does feed through the impression they want the best from you.
The recruiters, partners and other PwC staff are all readily on hand to answer any of your questions, and they very much encourage you to do so.
I wouldn't say a specific new skill set was learned. They just reinforced the importance of teamwork and your personal brand.
The Company
Tight schedule, and managed on time.
Buzzing and excited
You are set up in a very nice hotel, with good food and nothing comes across as cheap. PwC wants you, and will invest in you, and it's something you feel.
The academy was very generalist. It does lead you to want to work in that sector perhaps, but does not do a great job of specifically informing you on what the different divisions in the company actually do.
The company culture seeps through everything they do over the 3 days there.
The academy confirmed I wanted to work at PwC as a whole, but did not give me anything to go on regarding where in the company I would want to be.
Everything Else
Travel is reimbured.
Dinners with Partners, Presentations, Recruiters continuously on hand.
Networking every day.
Through word of mouth/
Definitely. Go for it!
